Registration is open for Winter 2012 Circus Arts and Melina's Daughters of Rhea Belly Dance Classes at Moody Street Circus.

Treat yourself to delicious movement and a supple spine on the very first day of 2012 with special classes offered in our Waltham studio to celebrate the New Year.

New Year's Belly Dance Balm with Melina of Daughters of Rhea at 10:30 a.m.- noon ($20 drop in, or a punch on Melina's 10-class dance card -- ALL WELCOME)

Come Have a Nice Hot Cup of Circus with the Pavlatas on New Year's Day! (2:30 - 4 p.m. - $25 to drop in, preregistration or reservation required - send us an email if interested.)

Six Saturdays January 14th - February 18th, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Theatrical and Emotive Dance Combinations & Choreographies with Expressive and Varied Music. Sara will break it down for you in a warm and supportive class atmosphere. Performance opportunity at the Moody Street Circus Recital on February 18th, 2012.

Arabic-Style Masterclass Series with Najmat
Boston's Queen of Shimmies will share her secrets to beautiful Arabic-style belly dance in a Special Topic series at Moody Street Circus, once a month over a three month period starting in January 2012.

Wednesday January 18th, 8 - 9:30 p.m. BEAUTIFUL FRAMES FOR YOUR BELLY DANCE: Polish, posture, hands arms and gestures. Beautiful framing arms to help you dance with poise and professionalism.

Wednesday February 15th, 8 - 9:30 p.m. DRUMSOLO SECRETS: Locks, pops and layering.

Wednesday March 14th, 8 - 9:30 p.m. ARABIC-STYLE COMBINATIONS. Fun Arabic-style dance moves.

CIRCUS ARTS CLASSES AND SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR KIDS, TWEENS & TEENS

We are offering a range of circus arts classes for kids aged 7 - 16. Our 2012 Winter session begins the week of January 10th and runs through April. Our 1/2 day summer program begins June 25; we are offering three 2-week sessions this summer. Pre-registration for these class sessions is required. We keep class-size very low to maximize safety and ensure personal attention to each student as well as ample time on the equipment for all.
