Greetings!
Hans formal
We at AdviseTech believe in doing our part to protect and care for our planet. Chuck our CTO/CIO has been driving his motorcycle for years. He not only enjoys the ride and loves what he saves on gas, but he feels good that he is helping to reduce the pollution that his mode of transportation adds to our world.  For this reason he bought as a second vehicle in 2003, a Honda Civic Hybrid. I have taken up riding my bicycle again. Started out as two day a week thing and know I ride everyday to work if I don't need to visit clients. Not only am I saving a ton in gas money but also stopped completely polluting for least 5 days a week. As a side benefit I lost a good amount of weight. A Co-worker, Dan, in Sales & Marketing is riding his road bicycle to the office every day, and Ronald Smith in our Reno Office rides his Motorcycle every day as well.  We hope we can make a difference even in a small way we are also looking into buying Wind Credits to ensure that the amount of electricity we use, is replaced on the power grid with Wind power, making it cleaner for everyone.
Best

The Cost of Doing Nothing!

Man and Puzzle Finding the right password for the right IT environment can be time-consuming, confusing, and a drag on a user's workplace productivity no matter if they're an employee, or an external partner, contractor, or customer. Recreating passwords when they expire is an even greater challenge. But worst of all is the combination of issues associated with finding and regularly recreating passwords on a multitude of applications all across the corporate network.

The Danger Within
Person with Suitcase
The biggest threats to information security often don't come from hackers. They come from a company's own employees. Here's how you can stop them.
As always, we invite your comments and suggestions regarding the information you want to know.  We try to keep this Newsletter light but informative. So far, the response has been very receptive!  In October, we will focus on the SCARY THEME and will surprise you with some GHOULISH content.
