The Cost Of Bad IT Economics

Hello Everyone,

May is here already, and unfortunately so is the onset of a recession.  In an effort to help you our customers in these trying times Chuck and I have agreed to freeze our service fees at the current level. We have worked diligently to sustain them at this same level for over the past 6 years. To try & help battle fuel costs, we are adding more technicians in service areas to shorten the distance of travel to our clients. We are also using a remote support system that helps eliminate many trips to client sites.

Our promise as always to all our clients and future clients is that we will continually aim to provide the highest level of service possible.

Sincerely,

Hans C. Aebischer

Data security is fast becoming one of the biggest IT challenges facing organizations large and small. While organizations invest to protect the network perimeter from external attacks, one area has until now been relatively neglected: the security of an organization's backup, recovery and archive processes. However, a series of new regulations and a spate of high profile backup tape losses are finally changing that: organizations are being forced to reevaluate how they effectively secure their backup data. This document offers an overview of how to address backup security in a comprehensive fashion, outlining the key building blocks of a backup security implementation, and offering a best practices guidance for each of these areas
