Celestial Forecast: Sept. 17-23

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS.
It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.

9/20, 9:12 am - 12:36 pm (Sagittarius)
9/22, 12:46 pm - 3:22 pm (Capricorn)
9/17 (Mon). If you're feeling a bit fuzzy-headed, it may be related to a Mercury-Neptune quincunx. Consider it an opportunity to rely less on logic and more on intuition!
9/18 (Tue). Pluto, retrograde since 4/10, stations direct today at 6°57' Capricorn. A planetary retrograde is ideal for reflection and planning, while a direct station can mark the time to put your plan into action. Thus, getting in gear with emotional and psychological release work, occult activities, and transformation of all kinds is supported as Pluto moves forward. If something has outlived its usefulness, give it an appreciative send-off and clear space for its replacement! This applies especially to themes represented by sensitive points in your chart between 4° and 10° of the cardinal signs: Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra.
9/19 (Wed). The most powerful astrological event of the decade - actually a series of seven events that started this year and extends into 2015 - hits another peak today. The second exact iteration of the Uranus-Pluto square brings the energy of revolutionary transformation into mass consciousness. Uranus calls us to rebel against that which no longer serves the highest good of all, blossom into the unique being we incarnated to become, and serve the collective with our special gifts and talents. Pluto asks us to release everything which has outlived its usefulness. And if you make acting upon your inner intuitive guidance your way of life, rather than striving for personal control, you will become the conduit for more power than you can possibly imagine. (Shades of Obi-Wan Kenobi!)
During the next few years, remember that every structure we observe breaking down around us creates an opportunity for something more enlightened to replace it. But why not start now instead of waiting for a massive breakdown? As Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world"!
9/20 (Thu). The Mercury-Uranus-Pluto T-square that fired up on 9/16 peaks today, as Mercury opposes Uranus and squares Pluto. When faster "trigger" planets aspect slower ones, it tends to intensify their effects. Thus, the Uranus-Pluto square gets a significant power boost the day after coming exact!
Libran Mercury also quincunxes Chiron today. Be open to life-affirming adjustments in your relationships, creativity and finances, and stay open to the new openings that healing and mentoring work can make possible!
The final event of this action-packed day is a sextile between Leonine Venus and Jupiter. This not only amplifies the relational and creative impacts already described, but empowers creative expression and relational joy!
9/21 (Fri). Ready for new inspiration -- that you can ground into the physical world -- in your relationships, creative expression and finances? It's available, thanks to a Venus-Saturn quintile.
A new T-square also forms today. The Uranus-Pluto square is once again involved, but this time the third player is the Sun. Peaking on 9/29 and wrapping on 10/7, this T-square will both positively energize and challenge the Libran themes (the Sun enters Libra tomorrow) of relationship and creativity that have been so prominent this month. The key strategies remain the same: follow your intuitive flashes, stay open to paradigm shift, and release absolutely everything, on all levels, that no longer serves your evolution!
9/22 (Sat). The Sun enters Libra today, triggering the Fall Equinox at 10:49 AM. Soak in the energies of beauty, creativity, justice and harmonious relating!
9/23 (Sun). Got altered states? You might crave them under this Sun-Neptune quincunx. Rather than overdoing the drugs, alcohol, or other escapist activities, consider invoking the bliss of divine immersion, or calling in your Muse for some creative inspiration!
