Celestial Forecast: July 2-8

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS.
It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.

There are no astrological events significant enough to mention here Monday thru Thursday.
7/13 (Fri). Uranus turns retrograde today at 8°32' Aries. Any sensitive points in your natal chart between 6° and 12° of a cardinal sign - Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn - will be affected by the power of this station. Be especially responsive to your intuitive flashes, and bring your behavior into alignment with your authentic personality. If an area of your life is becoming chaotic, it could be calling for an overdue paradigm shift!
7/14 (Sat). It's a good day for energized, harmonious communication with Mercury sextile Venus. And with Mercury in Leo, add creative expression to the list!
Mercury turns retrograde today at 10:16 PM, and will turn direct again on 8/8 at 1:41 am. As always with Mercury retrograde, try to avoid starting major new projects or making major purchases. Be prepared for travel glitches, and back up critical data!
Mercury retrograde is always an excellent time for introspection. Since this one takes place entirely in Leo, consider reflecting on your creative expression, children, your inner child, and whether you're getting enough rest, recreation and fun!
Mercury's strongest aspect as it stations retrograde is a sextile to Venus, which was exact earlier today. This reinforces the idea of ruminating on how you're doing with your creative expression, and also invites reflection on your relationships and finances.

Benjamin to Speak on"Ayahuasca Awakenings" Tue., July 24
Benjamin will lecture on "Ayahuasca Awakenings" at the Sacred Embodiment Center on Tue., July 24 at 7:30 pm.
Benjamin's love offering presentation will focus on the intense month-long shamanic immersion he underwent this spring in Peru. His focus will be on the spiritual awakenings that the plant spirit teacher Ayahuasca and master shaman Don Diego facilitated for him during his time in the jungle.
The first 90 minutes will be lecture. The final half hour will have Benjamin transmitting spiritual energy to the audience and leading them in guided invocations.
He will give a similar presentation at Crystal Visions on Wed., Aug. 15 at 7 pm.
