Celestial Forecast: April 2-8
by Benjamin Bernstein Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone. While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart. VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS.
It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.

4/3 (Tue). Venus enters Gemini today, where she will stay for an usually long time: through 8/7! Venus is usually a one-sign-per-month kind of woman; her extended visit is due to the fact that she will be retrograding entirely within Gemini during part of this four-month period. While she's there, focus on communication in your relationships, and make sure that you have a sufficient variety of interactions with others. Even the most wonderful partner may not be enough to satisfy your relational needs during this time!
4/4 (Wed). Mercury completes its current retrograde today, turning direct at 6:12 AM. Although Mars is still retrograde, this opens a brief window of good energy for starting new projects: 4/5 at 11:32 AM until the Full Moon on 4/6 at 3:18 PM. After that, you'll need to wait until 4/21 for the next optimal initiation time.
A magical quintile between two slower planets, Taurean Jupiter and Piscean Neptune, empowers the mystical experience of religion, visualizing what you desire with the Law of Attraction, experiencing the divine in the natural world, and manifesting financial abundance. It's also a lovely energy for experiencing the divine in your everyday physical activities. Take advantage of this special opportunity before it fades away on 4/14!

Sajit Greene, M.A. is a Women's Empowerment Coach who is passionate about supporting women to express their truth, in all areas of life. She specializes in helping women gain the clarity and confidence to create deeply satisfying, loving relationships, without compromising on what's most important to them.
It's crucial that we know and accept who we are and what we really want, so we can express ourselves authentically. Sajit offers a unique set of tools to help women know and speak their truth.
She has a Master's Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. For more than 20 years, Sajit has helped women access the wisdom, healing, and creative inspiration that arises from their own bodies. Since 2002, she has used astrology to offer profound insight into each client's unique soul journey.
Sajit's coaching practice now integrates astrology with a variety of experiential processes, such as "The Work" of Byron Katie, Voice Dialogue, Somatic Resourcing, and Expressive Arts. She currently resides near Asheville, NC, where she works with women in person, as well as via phone or Skype.
Sajit facilitates a Women's Circle that interweaves creativity and spirituality to address topics relevant to both personal and collective evolution. She also loves to network and assist other female entrepreneurs.
In 2011, Sajit initiated the "Heart-Centered Business Professionals" group, which meets monthly to provide peer support and education to its members. She is currently on faculty at the Asheville Tantra School and the Southeast Women's Herbal Conference.
