Celestial Forecast: December 5-11

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 12/8, 6:40 pm - 9:54 pm (Gemini)
12/11, 5:25 am - 8:27 am (Cancer)
12/5 (Mon). The current structures, systems and status quo may feel like an uncomfortable fit with Mars semi-square Saturn. Be sure to think through alternative suggestions before speaking up, and present them diplomatically. And remember that any Mars-Saturn aspect can fuel productivity!
With the planetary lovers Venus and Mars in trine, plan a romantic get-together, or at least do something creative! With both planets in earth signs, this is an excellent time to work on foundational issues in your relationships, and to experience greater energy and flow in your financial dealings.
12/6 (Tue). A four-month sextile between Taurean Jupiter and Piscean Chiron reaches a peak today, amplifying mentoring and spiritual healing. The influence of this aspect began on 11/10 and will last through 3/13. This aspect also has the flavor of worldly exuberance, supported by the easy flow of intuitive wisdom.
12/8 (Thu). This Thursday is brought to you by the quintile family, featuring a Mercury-Jupiter biquintile and a Sun-Neptune quintile. Given this combination of planets and aspects, this day sparkles with creative inspiration and intuitive connection!
