Celestial Forecast: November 14-20

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 11/24, 6:05 pm - 8:59 pm (Sagittarius)
11/26, 7:07 pm - 10:06 pm (Capricorn)
11/21 (Mon). Today is the energetic peak of the Grand Trine in Earth signs that started on 11/9, and whose influence continues through 11/29.
11/22 (Tue). The urge to acquire can run out of control during the passage of Venus, ruler of earthly desires, through Sagittarius. But she's only in the sign for a few more days, and today's sextile to Saturn can provide harmonious restraint.
Speaking of Sagittarius, the Sun enters this larger-than-life sign today, radiating joy, celebration, enthusiasm, love of knowledge, humor and the adventurous spirit of the quest!
11/23 (Wed). The Sun moves less than one degree into Sagittarius before squaring the wounded healer Chiron. Since this aspect is part of the current T-square, I refer you to that interpretation for a fuller understanding.
The Sagittarian Sun also trines Uranus today, comfortably supporting the expression of your unique qualities. Activities that challenge the status quo can also "Occupy" those drawn to revolutionary change!
On its own, today's trine between Virgoan Mars and Pluto describes a strong, easy flow of power, sexuality and precisely calibrated initiation. But it's actually two-thirds of the Grand Trine described on 11/9, which remains powerful for another week.
11/24 (Thu). We usually think of "making a list and checking it twice" at Christmas, but this year it also applies to preparations for the US holiday devoted to gratitude. That's because Mercury turns retrograde on Thanksgiving Day at 2:19 AM. (It turns direct again on 12/13 at 9:42 PM.)
