Celestial Forecast: November 14-20

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 11/18, 2:06 pm - 5:20 pm (Virgo)
11/20, 5:22 pm - 8:18 pm (Libra)
11/9 (Wed) [better late than never!]. A powerful Grand Trine in earth signs - consisting of Taurean Jupiter, Virgoan Mars and Capricornian Pluto - empowers productivity and accomplishment today thru 11/29, peaking on 11/21. This energy is also useful for sexuality, sensuality, focused transformation, and diving into even the most challenging projects with enhanced drive, determination and focus!
11/15 (Tue). Creative inspiration is abundantly supported with Sagittarian Venus quintile Neptune. You can also pick up intuitive insight around relationships and money issues.
11/16 (Wed). Mercury makes its own quintile to Neptune today, which can make your mind more sensitive to overall intuitive guidance. With Mercury in Sagittarius, this is particularly conducive to "big picture" thinking.
There are many ways to use the trine of Virgoan Mars and Taurean Jupiter, which is exact today and strong for a week on either side. For starters, there's amplification of initiation, leadership and sexuality. Increased good fortune in business dealings is also possible, as is a sense of "Energizer Bunny" productivity. As always, your results depend upon your focus! This trine is part of a Grand Trine aspect pattern which also includes Pluto; see the 11/9 entry for details.
11/17 (Thu). Creative refinement of your artistic projects, relationships and finances is supported with Venus quintile Chiron. It's also a good time for healing and mentoring in these areas.
11/19 (Sat). Still copycatting Venus's every move, Mercury quintiles Chiron today. This combination is great for inspiration and the intuitive refinement of your thinking.
11/20 (Sun). The urge for the transformative bliss of altered states may be strong with the Scorpionic Sun square Neptune. See if you can fulfill it by channeling your creative muse or connecting with the divine. (The more you do this, the less you have to deal with Neptune's more challenging qualities of addiction, confusion and inertia!)
This Sun-Neptune square is part of a larger configuration: a T-square, in effect today thru 11/27 and peaking on the 11/25 Solar Eclipse. It consists of Mars opposing Neptune and Chiron, with everyone squaring the Sun.
This aspect pattern can stimulate wounding experiences, which are more often psychological than physical. While these can be unpleasant, they also create wonderful opportunities by making the original, deeper wound available for healing. (You may find this healing invocation helpful.) Thus, the upside of this T-square becomes mentoring and healing, especially those modalities with a spiritual component.
