Celestial Forecast: Oct. 24-30

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 10/28, 7:50 am - 10:47 am (Sagittarius)
10/30, 9:31 am - 12:40 pm (Capricorn) 10/24 (Mon). Transformation and healing can occur more easily with the Scorpionic Sun trine Chiron.
10/25 (Tue). How do you know what adjustments to make as the Sun quincunxes Uranus? Through Uranus' intuitive flashes, of course!
10/26 (Wed). It's Energizer Bunny time with high-energy Mars sextile perseverant Saturn. And with Mars in Leo, you can have long-burning fuel for your creative output!
October's New Moon is at 3:56 PM (03°02' Scorpio). New beginnings in the Scorpionic qualities mentioned in the second paragraph of the 10/23 entry (power, wealth, psychological intensity and transformation opportunities), as well as research, detective work, sexuality, and shared resources of all kinds, are timely now.
This lunation is made even more intense by aspects from most of the slower planets. You can focus on stepping into your gifts as a healer and/or mentor (trine from Chiron), releasing everything that doesn't move your life in a positive direction (sextile from Pluto), and courageously embracing the qualities that make you special (quincunx from Uranus). And the opposition from Jupiter amplifies all of this, and adds a strong measure of hope and optimism into the mix.
This New Moon's Sabian Symbol is, "A youth holding a lighted candle in a devotional ritual gains a sense of the great 'other world'." You can have a similar experience right now by speaking this simple invocation: "Spirit, please grant me the maximum awareness of the nonphysical realms that serves the highest good, right now, thank you." Finally, relationships, sexuality and creativity are dynamically empowered by a Venus-Mars square. With Venus in Scorpio, rich rewards could await you if you're willing to dive into the depths!
10/28 (Fri). There's a lot of astrological action today!
Most significantly, an earthy trine between Taurean Jupiter and Capricornian Pluto can empower financial opportunities for several weeks, and also serve as an all-purpose energizer for whatever you want to focus on. This is one of October's most significant aspects!
Narrowing our time window to a few days, let your mind probe deep (but avoid verbal confrontation) with Scorpionic Mercury square Mars.
You might want to review the Scorpionic expressions in the 10/26 New Moon entry: the fact that everything described so far today involves either Scorpio or Pluto (Scorpio's modern ruler, who embodies the same energies) is just a warm-up! The Scorpionic Sun makes three aspects today, including a sextile to Pluto! And its quintile to Mars and opposition to Jupiter just fan the flames. Make this a day for full-on empowerment and transformation, and find positive outlets (including physical ones) for all this vital energy!
