Celestial Forecast for July 4-10

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.

7/8, 2:30 am - 7/9, 2:33 am (Scorpio)
7/10, 9:06 am - 7/11, 5:48 am (Sagittarius)
7/4 (Mon). Venus is in Cancer
today through 7/28. This supports relating with your family, and enjoying healing, nurturing exchanges with others as well.
On Independence Day, the cosmos are set up for you to declare independence from the illusion of being an isolated human! Connecting with your divine source, and the divine in others, can flow easily, thanks to a Venus-Neptune trine. (This aspect is also excellent for abundant creative inspiration.) Plus, your mind will be more open to the clear certainty of intuitive guidance and dynamic creative expression with Leonine Mercury trine Arian Uranus.
7/5 (Tue). Be mindful of your words, and the unspoken energy behind them. This is due to three challenging Mercury aspects, all happening today: a quincunx to Chiron, a square to Jupiter and a quincunx to Pluto! Even if speaking the truth, strive to do so in a way that makes your insights easy for others to receive. If the mental energy gets too intense, you can always chill out in the intuitive, trans-mental realm by using this simple technique.
7/6 (Wed). President Obama recently tapped into the US Strategic Oil Reserves. With Mars trine Saturn, you'll have plenty of your own reserve power on tap. It could be Energizer Bunny time, and Mars is in Gemini, so have a wide variety of projects ready to tackle!
7/7 (Thu). The potential for favorable financial outcomes peaks with Jupiter (expansion) trine Pluto (great wealth), but is strong all month because these are slower-moving planets. With Jupiter in Taurus, this same aspect can also enhance sensuality and help you unearth the roots of any challenging self-esteem issues.
Finances can sometimes go to one extreme or the other with Venus square Uranus, so be sure to follow your intuitive flashes! Relationships and creativity can also receive exciting paradigm shifts under this aspect.
7/8 (Fri). Observe your important relationships closely now. With Venus trine Chiron and opposing Pluto today, and making other significant aspects on Thursday and Saturday, chances are good that both the strengths and weaknesses in your significant relationships will be magnified. This can help you determine whether a specific relationship meets the cultivated, healed or released. (Ditto for creativity and finance.)
7/9 (Sat). Luck can be amplified when the two classic benefics - Venus and Jupiter - connect with a harmonious aspect such as today's sextile. Taken in context with all the other Venus aspects going on the last couple of days, this also can create a significant amplification of whatever's going on with your relationships, creativity and finance.
Mental focus and disciplined performance are supported with Leonine Mercury sextile Saturn.
Uranus turns retrograde today and continues backpedaling through 12/10. Any significant points in your chart between 2° and 7° of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn can be strongly affected by this station. Especially in the life areas represented by these points, be open to revolutionary breakthroughs and be sure to follow your intuitive flashes!
7/10 (Sun). Just hanging out with your family may provide you with unexpected inspiration with the Cancerian Sun quintile Jupiter.
