Celestial Forecast for June 27 - July 3

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.

6/27 (Mon). With the Sun trine Chiron, be mindful of opportunities for mentoring or healing - whether you're the giver or the recipient. It's an especially good time to take immediate action on your intuitive flashes with Mars sextile Uranus. Also notice whether your actions are authentic expressions of your unique qualities. 6/28 (Tue). Ready for an intense Tuesday? You've got it, thanks to three high-powered transits! We open with a Sun-Pluto opposition, radiating the energy of deep transformation. With the Sun in Cancer, examine what needs release, transformation or empowerment in your family structures. A Jupiter-Uranus semi-sextileis next in line, with Jupiter amplifying Uranus' energy of revolutionary paradigm shift. This energy can also help you accomplish breakthroughs within your existing spiritual path, or help you break out of a religious structure that no longer serves your highest need. With Jupiter in sensual Taurus and Uranus in sexual Aries, experimentation and breakthroughs in these areas is also supported. (An example would be discovering the night-and-day difference between "normal" sex and sacred tantric lovemaking!) This Jupiter-Uranus semi-sextile is a longer-lasting aspect, which has been building for a month and will slowly diminish in intensity for a month more. Our final Tuesday aspect is a Mars-Chiron square. This aspect can trigger old wounds, especially emotional or psychological ones, so that they can finally be healed. To put the icing on the cake after yesterday's intense energies, the universe offers us a Mars-Pluto quincunx! This aspect has been associated with sudden outbursts of long-simmering rage, so steer clear of volatile people and situations if possible. However, with Mars in Gemini, you can make good use of this energy by taking a variety of actions to make the adjustments needed for your own transformation. Or how about a playful lovemaking session devoted to experimenting with new techniques?
Here's some big-picture advice for dealing with the last four days of June. The more you embrace transformation, the less you'll experience anger. The more you call in Spirit to handle your healing, the less you'll suffer. And the more you follow your intuitive flashes, the clearer your path will be. 7/1 (Fri). From an astronomical perspective, today's partial solar eclipse at 4:54 AM (09°12' Cancer) is no big deal. According to NASA's website, "This Southern Hemisphere event is visible from a D-shaped region in the Antarctic Ocean south of Africa (see graphic). Such a remote and isolated path means that it may very well turn out to be the solar eclipse that nobody sees." But astrologically, it's an entirely different story! This lunation is first and foremost a New Moon in Cancer. This supports new beginnings in home, family, nurturing and working with unconscious material for several months to come.
The aspects to this eclipse could hardly be more intense! The conjoined Moon and Sun form one corner of a Grand Cross aspect pattern (which peaks today and is active 6/26 thru 7/3). The luminaries form a 180° opposition to Pluto, and also make two 90° squares to Saturn and Uranus. This signals that it's time for traditions and systems that have stagnated to be retired and replaced with revolutionary new approaches. This is especially true in the Cancerian areas mentioned above: home, family and the unconscious.
This eclipse has a dramatic Sabian Symbol: "An airplane dives toward the earth as though falling." A lot of us are dealing with increased uncertainty now, and can relate to the rising panic that would be felt by passengers in this harrowing situation. Things may seem to be plummeting toward disaster, but "as thoughfalling" implies that this perception could be illusory. My visions have shown me that this metaphorical airplane may give us quite a scare -- which we collectively need to break out of our old toxic patterns - but will pull up before it crashes.
7/2 (Sat). There's a lot going on today! Confused communication is a possibility with Mercury quincunx Neptune, so make sure you're understanding and being understood. However, this aspect also supports mental adjustments that will help you more easily receive a constant flow of intuitive guidance and bliss!
If more challenges than usual seem to be coming your way (Sun square Saturn), resolve to meet them with increased discipline and persistence.
On a more flowing note, spiritual healing and inspired mentoring are strongly supported for another three weeks with Jupiter sextile Chiron.
Finally, Mercury is in Leo through 7/28, supporting creative expression through writing, speaking and singing.
