6/1 (Wed). June opens quite dramatically, with a solar eclipse! This "New Moon on steroids" occurs at 5:03 PM at 11°01' Gemini.
        For starters, new beginnings in learning and communication are supported for the next six months. Your efforts are also blessed by enhanced persistence and ease of accomplishment, thanks to a tight trine to the eclipse from Saturn. This will be especially true if you make good use of the loose square from Chiron by bringing about healing and seeking out wise counsel where appropriate.
        Solar eclipse paths often show where significant world events will take place, or have recently occurred. This eclipse covers the far northern latitudes, including parts of Canada, China, Greenland, Iceland, Japan, Norway and North Korea. Japan's continuing nuclear crisis and Iceland's most recent volcanic eruption are two examples that come to mind.
        This lunation's Sabian Symbol is "A black slave-girl demands her rights of her mistress." Most of us are enslaved only by our limited thinking, and are in fact entitled to a vast cornucopia of rights: extraordinary abundance on all levels, unlimited divine consciousness, and the moment-by-moment guidance of our own intuitive wisdom. And all that's required to "demand" these rights is to simply ask Spirit for them and allow them in!

6/2 (Thu). Mercury enters Gemini, one of its two home signs, thru 6/16. This empowers learning and communication of all kinds!
        There's also a "Quintile Yod," effective June 1-4, which peaks today. This triangle, formed by one quintile (72°) and two biquintiles (144°), empowers divinely inspired creativity and spiritual connection. One interpretation of the planets involved - Mars and Chiron, with Saturn in the "power position" - is that a good way to work with any old psychological wounds (Chiron) coming up right now is to take a persistent "Energizer Bunny" approach (Mars is in Taurus). This can result in a more harmonious new structure for them (Saturn in Libra).

6/3 (Fri). If your fuzzy seems thinking ;-) while Mercury squares Neptune, try leading with your intuition instead. Which decision feels right?
        Neptune turns retrograde today for over five months, thru 11/9. Since Neptune is reversing course around 1° Pisces, and planets are most powerful when stationing (changing direction), anything in your chart very early in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) or very late in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) is getting a major hit of Neptunian force. If tempted to indulge an addiction or become an "escape artist" (spending excessive time in fantasy land), remember that Neptunian energy also loves life-affirming activities such as meditation, channeling creative inspiration and flowing love and light to others.

6/4 (Sat). A significant astrological event - Jupiter's entry into Taurus - occurs on 6/4. For the next 12 months, all things Taurean will be amplified so that you can see what's really going on and make appropriate adjustments. These include money, personal resources, sensuality, nature, persistence and "just being."
        With Mercury sextile Uranus, enhanced receptivity to intuitive flashes and original thinking are also strong.

6/5 (Sun). If any suffering arises, can you see that it is not the situation, but your thoughts about it, that are the cause? Can you practice "loving what is," as Byron Katie teaches, so that situations lose their negative emotional charge? Two Mercury aspects raise these thoughts: a square to Chiron and a quincunx to Pluto.
