Benjamin will give the PowerPoint presentation "2011 Astrology Forecast & Shamanic Planetary Invocations" on Thurs., Nov, 18 at 7 pm at the Hendersonville Unitarian Church, 2021 Kanuga Rd in Hendersonville, NC. Admission is free.

Celestial Forecast for November 15-21

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.
11/16, 11:38 am - 6:00 pm (Aries)
11/19, 12:33 am - 5:06 am (Taurus)
11/21, 12:28 pm - 1:47 pm (Gemini)
11/15 (Mon). Get productive - there's expansive "Energizer Bunny" energy (Sagittarian Mars) sextiling balanced endurance (Libran Saturn)!
But wait, it gets better - a Sun-Jupiter trine is one of astrology's most energizing aspects. Even this Scorpio Sun will be wanting to walk on the sunny side of the street!
11/16 (Tue). Thanks to a Mars-Neptune quintile, there's an especially smooth connection between your intuitive wisdom and your ability to put it into action.
Healers and mentors may find that inspired action comes more easily, with a Mars-Chiron quintile.
11/17 (Wed). Learning and communication benefit from the best of both worlds today: expansion from Sagittarian Mercury, while Mercury's sextile to Saturn provides discipline and focus.
11/18 (Thu). Your ability to go deep into your core - psychologically and spiritually - is empowered as the Scorpionic Sun squares Neptune. Creative inspiration, another Neptunian manifestation, might be downright urgent!
A Sun-Chiron square may bring out your inner maverick, or draw you toward mentoring and/or healing.
Mercury is also contacting Neptune and Chiron, but via a quintile. This can ease two-way communication between you and your Higher Self.
Also today, both Jupiter and Venus turn direct. This opens fresh energy for taking action in the areas of religion, philosophy, politics, relationships, creativity and finance!
11/19 (Fri). A trine between the Scorpionic Sun and Uranus is great for following intuitive flashes that encourage personal transformation.
11/20 (Sat). There's strong mental stimulation with Mars and Mercury conjunct in Sagittarius. Rather than talking too much, or using words as weapons, wax philosophical or do some writing!
11/21 (Sun). November's Full Moon shines forth today at 12:27 pm (29° 17' Taurus). How are you doing with "just being," connecting with the natural world, and savoring your five senses? Most of the solar system aspects this Full Moon, including all of the slower planets, so its power will be unusually intense. To be specific, the Moon squares Neptune and Chiron, sextiles Uranus and Jupiter, sesquiquadrates Saturn and biquintiles Pluto!
The Sabian Symbol, "A Peacock Parading On The Terrace Of An Old Castle," certainly supports those who prefer a flamboyant Full Moon celebration! Perhaps it's also encouraging us to show our true colors, even in more traditional settings.
