New Class Session Begins Next Week!
A new class session begins next week (the week of June 28), with five classes to choose from: Beginning Astrology, Transits & Progressions, Relationship Astrology, Solar Returns and Mentoring. All five combine a conference call with live
streaming video of my computer screen. And, thanks to my low tuition
rates, they're also a bargain!
There's something for everyone, from complete newbies to
advanced students. And, except for the first two weeks of Beginning
Astrology, there are no lectures. To insure a lively and stimulating
experience, all concepts are taught as we look at student charts,
while getting feedback from that student.
Sign up early to insure your spot!

THIS TUESDAY: "Simple and Effective Solutions for Astrological
Challenges" lecture by Benjamin
Benjamin will lecture on
"Simple
and Effective Solutions for Astrological Challenges"
on
Tuesday, June 22 at 7 pm. He will speak at the monthly meeting of the
Asheville
Friends of Astrology at Earth Fare Westgate, 66 Westgate Parkway,
Asheville
NC. Admission
is free.
Benjamin guarantees that
his
consultations will be "accurate and helpful." The "accurate" part comes
mostly
from astrology. The "helpful" part, however, is drawn from the simple
but
effective techniques he offers his clients to help them deal with the
astrological challenges they're facing.
Over the course of almost 3000
consultations, Benjamin has developed and refined a variety of tools
that have
proven consistently helpful to his clients, whether the issue is
energetic
hypersensitivity, difficulty receiving or following intuitive guidance,
making
hard decisions, overcoming Law of Attraction issues, or a host of
others.
Benjamin will share the ideas and techniques he offers most frequently
to help
his clients transform their most difficult astrological challenges into
some of
their greatest strengths. |

Episode #165
Free consultation
winners! * Grand Cross! * Lunar Eclipse! * Summer Solstice *
Saturn-Neptune quincunx * Shamanic insights into the Law of Attraction
and healing with love * Working with modes and elements
We
return from our two-week hiatus with a bang! A
Grand Cross -- astrology's most
challenging aspect pattern -- peaks this week, made all the more
potent
by numerous outer planets. And as if that wan't enough, the Grand
Cross lines up with a Lunar Eclipse!
A Saturn-Neptune quincunx
is also headline-worthy (think Law of Attraction!), as is the
Summer Solstice. And if the
seasons are changing, that means it's time for two more
free consultation giveaways. Listen for the winners on
this show!
Benjamin shares some of the insights he gained
during
two weeks of shamanic ceremony in the Peruvian jungle:
a powerful "behind the scenes" way of working
with
the Law of Attraction,
as
well as a simple yet effective method of
healing with the power of love. We also feature
several
listener emails, one of which leads Benjamin into an in-depth
discussion
of how to work with imbalanced modes and
elements in a chart.
Finally,
Benjamin's new round of classes begins next
week: learn
more and register now!

Celestial Forecast for June 21-27
 by Benjamin Bernstein
Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. Learn more here.
6/21, 7:29 am - 8:15 am (Scorpio) 6/23, 11:33 am - 2:11 pm
(Sagittarius) 6/25, 7:34 pm - 10:23 pm (Capricorn)
6/21
(Mon). The
Sun enters Cancer at 7:28 am. This is the Summer
Solstice, the
longest day of the year, so celebrate! The Sun's passage through Cancer, which
lasts through 7/22, is a good time to focus on nurturing, healing, food and
domestic affairs. Symptoms of a mismanaged Sun-Uranus square(also part of the Grand Cross described on 6/24) include nervousness, fidgeting
and chaotic life events. The antidote? Vigorous exercise and, above all,
following your intuitive flashes!
6/22
(Tue). A
Sun-Chiron trine is a wonderful time to give or receive mentoring and
healing. Creativity is also stimulated with Venus' biquintile to
Pluto.
6/23 (Wed). Even if you feel like you can take on Mickey Rourke, don't
mistake yourself for Iron Man: it may just be the overconfidence of a
Sun-Jupiter square. (Also part of the Grand Cross described on 6/24.)
Still, do put this abundant energy to good use!
6/24
(Thu). A
GRAND
CROSS, which
can be an intensely challenging aspect pattern, is in effect the 21st thru the
26th, peaking today. This one packs a punch, with the Sun making hard angles
to Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter and Saturn! Mercury is also part of this
mighty aspect pattern the 24th to the 26 as it conjuncts the Sun. Stand ready to jettison all physical and conceptual structures that don't serve
your highest need, especially in domestic and family affairs. Good fortune is
part of the mix, especially if you leave quiet time to receive the intuitive
flashes which stand ready to guide you! A Mercury-Saturn
square is part of today's Grand Cross. Considered independently, it can
support intense mental discipline as long as you're not letting someone else
control would you can think or say! Mercury is also trining
Neptune, an energy of flowing creativity and easy divine
connection.
6/25 (Fri). Mercury enters Cancer today through 7/9. Use its
time there to make your communication more sensitive and nurturing. Two of the Grand cross' aspects are exact today: Mercury square Uranusand the Sun opposing Pluto. See the 6/24 entry for details. Mercury trines Chiron today, an ideal setup for mentoring and healing
words.
6/26 (Sat). A Mercury-Jupiter square is great for mental
stimulation; just be sure you're not talking someone's ear off! It's also part
of the Grand Cross we've been discussing. Speaking of the Grand
Cross, you could hardly ask for a more dramatic ending to it than a LUNAR
ECLIPSE! This
occurs at 7:30 am (5° Capricorn). Astronomically, this eclipse (which, by
definition, is also a Full Moon) is no big deal, since it's only partial. But it's big
news astrologically, since the Moon is tightly conjunct Pluto (death and
rebirth), and the Moon makes challenging aspects to all of the other Grand
Cross planets! The energies laid down by eclipses last at least
six months. Thus, this eclipse is helping to lay the energetic groundwork for
the "Cardinal Climax" coming in early August. (The Cardinal Climax, a
world-rocking "T-square", will be the most powerful aspect pattern of our
lifetimes! It will include the same slower planets aspecting this eclipse:
Pluto, Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter.) To make the best use of these
energies, carefully analyze all of the key structures in your life: physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual. Once you identify the ones which are not
serving the highest need of all concerned, either repair them or release them.
Let go of greed and embrace community. Release fear and embrace love. If you
feel unable to do something from the personality level, remember that the divine
can accomplish anything: ask Spirit to assist you! The Sabian
Symbol for
this eclipse is, "Indians on the warpath. While some men row a well-filled canoe,
others in it perform a war dance." This resonates powerfully with the Sabian
Symbol for last month's New Moon, which was, "An Indian warrior
riding fiercely, human scalps hanging from his belt." My interpretation of that
symbol was, "Think of the warrior as yourself racing toward
your divinely guided destiny, and the scalps as the aspects of yourself which,
Kali-like, had to be slain for you to grow into the full magnificence of your
evolved self!" I get a similar sense from today's "warpath" symbol,
but on a more social level. It's easy to think of this symbol as literally
meaning war between nations, and with so many tense spots around the world one
can't rule out that possibility. But this symbol doesn't have to
manifest that way. Rather, we can choose to use the resources in our
"well-filled canoe" -- our ingenuity, compassion, energy, physical and financial
resources and desire to make a better world -- to wage war on humanity's common
enemies. These include global warming, social injustice, the suicidal obsession
with growth and profit without regard for its environmental and social cost, and
the pernicious illusion that we are separate from our brothers and sisters in
human, animal and plant bodies. Once one wakes up and experiences the unity and
interdependence of all things, one loses the desire to do harm to other living
beings. One "wages war" against ignorance and greed, with the purpose of
creating peace, harmony and balance.
6/27
(Sun). June's
final major aspect, Saturn quincunx Neptune, repeats this theme.
Neptune-Saturn combinations can represent the dissolution of outmoded
structures. But they can also stand for the conscious use of imagination,
visualization and spiritual power (Neptune) to help make adjustments to old
structures or create better ones. Come be part of the solution! A
Mercury-Pluto opposition can help take your thinking deep and transform
it for the better.
