Benjamin to Participate in Special Symposium at ISAR Astrology Conference
Benjamin is honored to have been invited to participate in a special symposium made up of a select group of professional astrologers at 2009's largest US astrology conference.
The conference, to be held by the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) August 20-23 near Chicago, has the theme "Astrology's Value to Society." The symposium attendees will discuss how astrologers can better communicate who they are and what they do to the media, educators, legislators, science and religion.
While admission to the special symposium is by invitation only, the conference itself is open to anyone with an interest in astrology. Click here for more information.

Celestial Forecast for July 27 - August 2, 2009

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 8/2, 1:42a - 4:09a (Capricorn)
7/27 (Mon).
Venus trines the Three Aquarians today (Jupiter and Chiron) and tomorrow
(Neptune), creating new possibilities for deeper soul connection with those you
love, easier relating with Spirit and stronger creativity.
7/28 (Tue).
Intuitive flashes (Venus square Uranus) can
guide your relationships and creative expression to the next level now, as long
as you're willing to replace the tried and true with the newer and truer!
Mental creativity
gets its own intuitive assist with Mercury's biquintile to Uranus.
7/30 (Thu).
Mercury opposes the Three Aquarians* today and tomorrow, opening the way
for more powerful channeling of your higher wisdom, wisdom-givers and empowered
mental functioning. But no matter how exciting a new idea may be or how great
your desire to share it, be sure to engage your powers of discrimination!
Venus fires up the
slowly coalescing Uranus-Pluto square 7/25 thru 8/1, with greatest influence
today. (Technically speaking, this is a
T-SQUARE,
with Venus opposing Pluto and both planets squaring Uranus.) This could amplify
the themes of increased independence, true equality and sexual freedom within
relationships.
7/31
(Fri). Venus enters Cancer
today thru 8/26, an energy that supports having good friends over so you can
nurture than with food and lots of warm fuzzies!
8/1 (Sat).
Relationship energy can grow intense under today's Venus-Pluto opposition.
Disharmonious energies can make themselves known so that healing can be achieved if at all possible, while more obviously welcome effects can include soul-deep
connection and supercharged libidos! Creativity can also get a major kick-start
from this transit.
8/2 (Sun). Mercury enters Virgo, a sign that it rules, today thru 8/25. This
is a good time to focus on details and fine points, turn your thoughts to
health matters, and be of service in ways that fill you with joy and vitality!
