Celestial Forecast for July 13-19, 2009

Whatever your sun sign, this forecast will help you choose how to best use the current astrological energies! Events are most powerful on the dates listed. However, their influence will be active for at least several days before and after. All dates and times are in the U.S. eastern time zone.
While everyone is affected by these global transits, you will be most powerfully impacted when moving planets activate natal planets and other sensitive points in your birth chart.
VOID-OF-COURSE MOONS. It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major purchases during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic aspect but has not yet moved into the next sign. 7/13, 4:04a - 10:40a (Aries)
7/15, 11:08a - 6:30p (Taurus)
7/17, 7:08p - 10:42p (Gemini)
7/19, 6:13p - 11:52p (Cancer)
7/13 (Mon). Learning and nurturing communication are amped up by today's Sun-Mercury conjunction in Cancer.
7/14 (Tue). Be cautious not to provoke those with short tempers - today's Mars-Pluto quincunx can be volatile! As with all Mars-Pluto contacts, exercise, athletic competition, sex or other activities requiring lots of physical energy can be delightfully empowered.
7/15 (Wed). Mercury quincunxes the Three Aquarians* today. Making time for mental activities could be rewarded with enhanced inspiration and access to inner wisdom!
7/16 (Thu). With Mercury (left-brain mentality) trining Uranus (flashes of divine intelligence), ask first for answers from within before invoking logic.
7/17 (Fri). The Sun quincunxes the Three Aquarians* today (Chiron and Jupiter) and tomorrow (Neptune). Any agitation or ennui you may feel can be helped by saturating yourself with divine light. (See my Divine Saturation Snap Meditation for an effective, field-tested method!)
Mercury enters Leo today thru 8/2, encouraging public speaking, storytelling and other entertaining forms of public declamation.
7/18 (Sat). With the Sun trining Uranus, your vitality will be enhanced by "letting your freak flag fly." Research and deep mental probing are supported by today's Mercury-Pluto quincunx - just be mindful that you don't get sucked into a war of words!
