Good Morning,
I would like to welcome our NEW Subscribers, we have experience a tremendous amount of growth and I owe it all to the Lord and to you. I may not always know how it touched your life, but I want you to know that my heart is for you to live and to see God move in your life. No matter what God gives me to write, He is for you and He loves you.
I am so grateful to the Lord because He didn't have to choose me to minister to you and for that I give Him all the glory. I pray that God would continue to use me to speak life into your hearts that will cause you to take a leap of faith with your style, your swagger right into your destiny.

Stop Beating Yourself UP!
It's ALL GOOD
by Sonya

Our elders use to tell us that you will live and learn. They would tell us that we would understand it better by and by. I just love grandmothers and grandfathers they could see things that we couldn't see because the eyes of their understanding had moved beyond their past or present situation and they would praise God in the midst of it all. Now in this contemporary society we give praise to things that aren't good for us and we over look the things we should get excited about. We hold pity parties, and shout with cheer, 'woo is me.' We ride in on parades when people breakup and never gives praise to those who stay together. I teach classes about perception and how our distorted view makes or allows us to see things in ways that doesn't appear real. We look at our past and allow it to dictate our future. We glamorize our pass as though God doesn't have a future for us. So instead of walking into our destiny looking forward, we walk through life looking backwards. Why, am I saying all of this? Your experiences in life mold, make, and groom you into the person that God needs for you to be. How would you as a woman know what kind of man you want and need if you hadn't gone through those experiences? How would you as a man know when you found the one if you didn't first go through some bad ones? How would you have known something was hot until you touched it? Maybe God, allowed him to hurt you or to leave you so that you would seek His face more? Maybe God, allowed that woman to leave you because he knew she wouldn't be good for you in the end? You see, we always think that God removes people from us but maybe ladies and gentlemen God knew you were not ready for them. You see it works both ways. How could God build up your strength, patience, tenacity, and courage if He didn't work you in this gym called, 'LIFE?' You see its all in how you look at it? One of the many miracles that Jesus performed in the New Testament was to heal and to open blinded eyes. How you see things or yourself will make you stay in things longer than you should or make you leave when you should have stayed? How you see your life experiences will either keep you depress or make you become passionate about helping others or even better yet non-judgmental? Knowing that if it had not been for the Lord on your side! I always give this example when I am teaching class; how can two people who were raised in the ghetto one got out and done great things and the other one stayed and felt sorry for him or herself yet they grew up in the same household, saw the same things and were raised by the same parents. It's simply their perception. Yes, you made some bad decisions but yet you have made many good ones. You lost some things but you also received some things. So what it didn't work out with you and your child's father or mother but look at the blessing God gave you. So having that child was not a mistake but rather a blessing because it was something in that other person that God wanted that child to have in order to fulfill his or her destiny. That's why you shouldn't say things to your child about the other parent that's negative but rather to bring out the good. So, as oppose to looking at woo is me, they left me, they hurt me, they don't help me. Look at it this way God has given you a gift your 'child' do you know who you are raising? Don't despise your past look at you now you are stronger, wiser, and full of life. Look at you, you made it out, God brought you through that and He is going to bring you out and through this. That's good news! For the past couple of days, I have really been feeling like my life is crazy, nothing is making sense right now. What is going on! It doesn't make sense for me to call others they are trying to figure their life out as well. I didn't want their input neither did I want anyone guessing what God is doing in my life. Neither did I want to explain anything; I just wanted my Heavenly Father. He is my grandfather, my grandmother, He is the one who can open up my eyes to show me what I maybe overlooking, to change my distorted view. See ladies and gentlemen when you are at the crossroads of life now is not the time to call others or ask others it's time to get on our face and turn to God and ask our Creator to make some sense out of our life. What was I designed to do? Why, did I go through this or that? How do I make better decisions? All of these questions and more, so as I been lying at His feet having my pillow talks, I just wanted some peace and some alone time with Him. Nothing against anyone I just needed my dad. If you have a relationship with God maybe you need some alone time with Him. The bible says that it was good for me to have been afflicted. Job said this, though He slays me yet will I trust Him. Paul asked God to remove the thorn from his flesh and God said my grace is sufficient. So, as I begin to listen to the Lord, He said, 'all things are working together for the good of them that love the Lord and who are called according to His purpose.' The bible says that after you have gone through the fire that you shall come forth as pure gold. You don't hear what I am saying, the good, the bad and the ugly it's all good. Things are going to work out for your good. We may not know how, when, where, are how but God said, it is ALL GOOD! When I say this, I don't mean to continue in sin or to do wrong but to forgive yourself and repent for the bad decisions that you have already made. I pray this morning that God would change your perception to open your eyes to the many possibilities that lay before you. I pray that God would help you realize that what you went through, past failures and past mistakes was teaching you and grooming you for the destiny that He has before you. For you to stop beating yourself up and to take some alone time to seek His face because He loves you and He is working it out for your good;
Can I bring some witnesses to the stand:
Abraham come from among your kinsman and be ye separated and I will show you the land that I have for you. I will multiply your seed. Abraham had a child by his maid servant but he wasn't the one, his wife was pass child bearing but God opened up her womb and she gave birth to Isaac.
Joseph was sold into slavery taken to the palace, beaten by his brothers and was eventually made king to save his family.
Esther had no father or mother but an uncle who raised her and guided her into becoming the queen to save her people.
Jesus while on the cross asked the God why has thou forsaken me. They beat him until he was unrecognizable, they stabbed him in his side, but three days later he rose from the dead that you and I might have a right to the tree of life. Glory to God. We have a right to praise Him. The bible says that He was wounded for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed. Hallelujah, I give glory, if God never do another thing, He's already done enough.
When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for me my soul cries out halleluah. I will close with this my niece did something that she didn't think would have such an effect on her life as it did, and it made me angry. So, I called her and I was ready to fuss at her and she said this to me auntie who better knows how I feel than me? Who is more upset than me? I am the one having to live with the decision I made, I never thought it would change my life like this? She said, no one asked me how I was doing, everyone just want to fuss and I realized at that moment she didn't need to be reminded of what she did wrong. She needed to hear that God was going to work everything out for her good and that He allowed this to happen to her to get her into a place where she will call not on others but on Him. So today, encourage others that you don't know how He is going to do it but that God is working it ALL out for your GOOD! You will understand it by and by.
