Greetings!

For those of you who were unable to attend the inspiring talk by Stephen Lewis on October 2, we offer in this newsletter links to the Duke Chronicle coverage of the event, and a link to a 15-minute video of highlights.

This newsletter provides a link to our monthly DGHI Faculty Profile (this time of Kim Blankenship), news of our new DGHI Member Duncan Thomas, and our new DGHI Affiliate Will Mitchell, and information on several DGHI global health educational programs that are accepting applications.

As always, we also include information about funding opportunities, events, and other items of interest to the global health community. If you have additional information you think should be posted in this newsletter, please email marsha.green@duke.edu.
