Greetings!
Welcome to a week
full of global health related events. This newsletter includes information
about a Candlelight Vigil for Kenyans on Feb. 7, additional information on new duke
policies and assistance for international travel and the sharing of information
and data across international borders, and a wide array of educational and
research opportunities.
We are also pleased
to include in this newsletter a link to our very first Duke Global Health
Institute podcast. This month's podcast highlights Dr. John
Bartlett's reflections on the importance of research in Tanzania. (Dr.
Bartlett will also be speaking about his research at the University Seminar on
Global Health on February 14.)
We hope you enjoy the
podcast and other news. If you have events, opportunities or ideas you would
like to see us highlight in this newsletter, please let us know by emailing marsha.green@duke.edu .
