Greetings!

Learning and sharing and growing.

We all know the saying give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for life. One of the best ways to really understand and learn what you know is to teach it. NLP has so many every-day skills that would be great for everyone to know - rapport, representational systems and meta-model to name just a few.

I know that you are using your skills, and I know there are people around you that may benefit from a few lessons. With permission of course. I've found a great way to start a teaching conversation with a friend is "I know of this great rapport tool that can help you to connect with people very easily, can I tell you about it?"  Then, you get to share your information, remember it again yourself and pass it on.

Heidi HeronWho can you share some of your skills and knowledge with this month?

Best regards,

Heidi  Heron

Updates from the ABNLP

Have you twitted, dug or poked lately? We have!!!

New abnlp.org.auEven if you have no idea what those things are, the ABNLP Leadership team is busy again in the background! In the next week our new ABNLP website will launch as will the ABNLP Blog! The Blog will have a wide array of NLP articles, hints, tips and tricks for NLPers and soon to be NLPers to view. The content will change regularly for your viewing pleasure.

The purpose of the blog is twofold, 1) we will be offering you more benefits with more NLP information and 2) we will be driving a lot of NLP traffic to our website to increase our membership and entice new NLPer to work with our Registered Clinical Members and train with our Registered Trainer Members. It is our intention that the ABNLP website and blog will be the number one landing page for anyone searching NLP. And you are now a part of that! In the next few weeks we'll send information about how to submit articles and start to build a bigger online presence for yourself in the NLP Community.

The second phase of our online marketing plan is to create a Members Only section on the website. This will contain more information about how to set up a practice, case studies, interviews, videos, audio files and anything else that will be beneficial for our members.

Finally, we will be launching an Online NLP Forum where we will have interactive discussions, QA sessions and add more value to your membership.

All along the way, we will be starting to video the Sydney and Melbourne Member Events and have the recordings available to purchase and download. This will be especially helpful for anyone unable to attend the events.
