Greetings!
Seasons Greetings from the ABNLP!
We hope this edition of the NLP Observer finds you happy and well. I don't know about you, but it seems like just yesterday I was Christmas Shopping for 2007 gifts. Now, we have the pleasure of finding 2008's latest and greatest!
I for one am thankful that things do change however. Although I may buy a new toy or game for my nieces and nephews that remarkably resembles last year, they are different. To me, this is a continual (well, at least annual) reminder that nothing really stays the same. From an NLP Perspective - the Map is not the Territory. To me a certain game may be just a game, but to a 12 year old it can mean the world!
Another thing that Christmas reminds me is that we are privileged with choice. Not just choice of what to buy, but choice of how we go into the holiday season. Do we choose joy, love and happiness or irritation, frustration and angst? While the latter would sometimes be the path of least resistance - especially in the current economy, I for one am glad that there is a choice!
We have some wonderful things planned for 2009 and the ABNLP and look forward to sharing them with you in the New Year!
For now, we wish the best to you and yours!
Regards, Heidi Heron ABNLP - Chairperson |
