Greetings!

Behind the scenes yet again this month the ABNLP Leadership Team is helping the organisation grow and prosper. We have two exciting things to share with you this month - a change to Registered Trainer Membership and an opportunity for Professional Members to be listed on the Website.

Over the past few months we have been making phone-calls to members for feedback about the ABNLP. What we have learned is that you are enjoying the Members Forums in Sydney and Melbourne, many people don't know about the Partners Discount Program we have in place (for info have a look at the website), that you would like more benefits for your membership (including listings on the website) and having an option to remotely attend the Forums is important.

We are working on all of these aspects, and more. Thank you to those of you who we have talked to. We are also working on a Members Survey which will further help us to know what you want from your ABNLP.

In an effort to build more Partners in the Discount Program, if you have a service or product that would be useful to the NLP Community and you are able to offer a discount to members, please email us on admin@abnlp.com.au with information and we will get back to you about becoming a Partner.

The ABNLP is much more than just having Clinical Members on board - it is about building a community of like minded people all with a common interest in NLP. We are privileged to share this NLP Community with you. Heidi Heron

Best  regards,

Heidi  Heron

Changes to Registered Trainer Membership

Over the past few months the Leadership Team has been talking to a variety of NLP Trainers around Australia. In light of our discussions, and in an effort to unify the NLP community more, we have amended the requirements for becoming a Registered Trainer with the ABNLP.

Until now, one main requirement was membership as a Registered Clinical Member. Many trainers are currently working toward Clinical Membership, but are not yet eligible - or we have found many NLP Trainers who are training NLP to use their skills in more of a Business Consulting/Coaching capacity versus Clinically based.

Therefore, the new requirements for Registered Trainer Membership are as follows: (please note, the only change is the addition of Professional Membership as a lead in to this level).
  • Current Registered Clinical Membership or Professional Membership with the ABNLP
  • NLP Trainer's Certificate from a training institute whose training meets the Minimum NLP Training Requirements specified by the ABNLP
  • 2 years of NLP Training experience post NLP Trainers Training
  • Conducted a minimum of 4 NLP Practitioner/Master Practitioner Training Courses in the past 2 years
  • Trained a minimum of 40 students in NLP Practitioner/Master Practitioner trainings in the past 2 years
  • Completed a minimum of 40 hours of Ongoing Professional Development in the past 2 years

Registered Trainer Members will be listed on the ABNLP Website as a Trainer, will be able to use the logo on marketing materials and certificates. The annual cost for Registered Trainer Membership is $250, which includes Clinical or Professional Membership and a website listing.

The rate to upgrade your membership now is simply the difference between your current level of membership and Registered Trainer Member.

From feedback about this change, we are positive that many NLP Trainers will take advantage of this opportunity. For more information, view the website. You can also download an application download an application form now. If you have any questions, please contact Heidi Heron at chair@abnlp.org.au.

Opportunities
for Professional Members

Are you an NLP Master Practitioner who uses your NLP skills in a Professional manner? This may be as a Life Coach, Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist, Lawyer, Trainer (non-NLP Certification), Health Practitioner, Consultant, etc.

In December, a new page on our website will be dedicated to listing ABNLP Professional Members. An example is below.

The requirements for Professional Membership are as follows:
  • NLP Master Practitioner Certification from a training institute whose training meets the Minimum Training Requirements specified by the ABNLP
  • 2 years of experience with NLP in a organisational/professional context
  • 25 hours of Ongoing Professional Development post NLP Master Practitioner
  • Professionally appropriate insurance.

The annual membership fee is $120 plus $30 for optional website listing. To upgrade from Associate membership, the fee will be the difference ($30 + $30 for website listing).

Download an Application now to upgrade your membership to Professional Member with the ABNLP.

Topic: The Soul - Shamanic Connection

Speaker
: Jon Brenton

About the Workshop:
When the heart and soul are ready to reconnect to the source of spiritual love we can create the deepest metaphysical change in our lives. Create a soul heart mate, soul friends, soul purpose and an unlimited supply. A transformation can take place far beyond the use of our will in our worldly affairs. In my 15 years of using clinical NLP these simple shamanic nlp techniques have brought about the most profound changes in the most difficult of clients.
