Greetings!
Welcome to the new look NLP Observer, the e-news of the Australian Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming. This is just one of many exciting new initiative being undertaken by a talented and enthusiastic new executive, and we will use it to keep you constantly updated as to many of the new developments mapped out for this year.
As the new Chair I have been calling our members and asking for feedback on where improvements can be made that would be relevant to you. If you haven't received a call yet, you soon will. Please consider what constructive feedback you might be able to offer.
We plan to implement a host of new membership benefits and we have a subcommittee already working to that end. We have already secured a host of money saving advantages for our members that we will be able to announce shortly. We are reviewing workshops and social events as well, so stay tuned.
For those interested in the Clinical applications of NLP I have also been liasing with Government bodies and we are now in their consultative loop.
If your membership is up for renewal simply fill in the form with the reduced rate to make yourself eligible for these benefits.
This next year will be a huge one for the ABNLP - make sure
you are part of it.

2008 Conference
We are also really excited by the amazing Conference we have put together on the weekend of 29th & 30th March 2008. It will be held at the Vibe Hotel in North Sydney (actually it is Milson's Point for those of you who are familiar with the area), and will be co hosted between the ABNLP and the ASCH (Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists).
We have a host of speakers flying in from around the world to be here. Fourteen speakers including Stephen Gilligan (one of Erickson's greatest students and founder of Self Relations), Michael Hall, author of over 30 titles on NLP, founder of Meta Coaching and Neuro Symantics, and Paul Aurand, President of the US based Michael Newton Institute. We also have experts in the mind body connection, family constellations, PSH, Past Life Regression, Building practice, networking, coaching and a host of other approaches. There will be something for everybody.
The collective wisdom of this gathering stands head and shoulders above any other event of its type that I can remember in this country.
Mark it in your diary right now - the 29th & 30th March.
The conference is open to the public and other modalities but ABNLP members will get a significant discount. You will definitely want to be there. Seats are limited so as soon as the tickets go on sale, book and secure your place.
