2010 Unity in Design Success!9, 2009

 HPDC 2010
 Trade Show Participants
Greetings!
 March 6th, 2010.
Yes, two weeks ago today the High Point Design Center hosted its first annual Trade Show, and, by all counts it was considered a grand slam success.

tandy and rosemaryTrade Show exhibitors were happy for the steady flow of traffic throughout the day, and attendees were pleased for the cross section of goods and services represented at the event.

A great opportunity for one on one, from both sides of the fence.

The Trade Show marked the final "hurrah" of what was the HPDC's 3rd Annual Unity in Design Event, in High Point NC....an event hosted by HPDC but co sponsored by an "alphabet soup" of organizations.
Thanks to the following organizations for thier support and sponsorship, for helping make this event the success that it was.
....and DPNC, the Design Professionals of High Point.

As a member of the Marketing Committe for the HPDC, I am pleased to contribute by way of  providing you the websites for all Trade Show participants, (as noted on left sidebar), as well as the handful of photos I took during the Trade Show. Enjoy!
...and on a personal note
terri and ruth Antiques by Zaar was pleased to host a luncheon on Friday, followed by a presentation on "relationships" presented by Terri Maurer and with interjections by yours truly.

You can read my musings on the Event in my blog, and click here for photos taken, but would like to reiterate here my
Thank yous...
...and, of course, to the designers that attended.

Rita Reynolds won the drawing for one of the two autographed books we did as a giveaway. For thoserita and terry that are interested in buying the book, click image below to take you directly to Amazon.
If an autographed copy is appealing to you, we have a small supply of such in our warehouse which will be available during Market, Spring 2010!

....and to that end
Carved Chinese StatureYes,not that I'm counting (yeah right) but opening day of Market is a mere 6 weeks away....so much to do, so little time. Very much look forward to wending my way back to NC (from Maine for those that are running a blank on my current state of residence) for what promises to be another wonderful time to connect and reconnect, as we go about this business of creating warm and inviting spaces for your clientele.
Shall stay in touch!

Ruth
P.S. Check out High Point Market Authority's Industry Insights for article I wrote on Communicating with Your Customers Now. Excited to see it has such visible placement with lead up to Market!
