Where You Found Antiques by Zaar in High Point |
Antiques by Zaar Warehouse/Showroom: 400 Mandustry St, High Point
Thrilled for those of you that found your way to our warehouse/showroom. Thanks to Jeff the warehouse was inviting and visually pleasing with the many vignettes she positioned. The Go Anywhere shuttle was available and next Market we plan on having our very own Antiques by Zaar shuttle service available.
If you weren't able to visit us this time feel free to puruse additional photos that are posted on Facebook. And yes, you can view them even if not a part of the community.
Aribesque: 114 South Main St, High Point
My Chinese antiques suited perfectly in the Aribesque showroom Charleston Forge, Raymond Waite and Pure also worked well to accent the high end fabric/bedding line.

Some Market Events Attended/Photograhped |
Enjoyed taking in some of the educational seminars that were presented and made available: Tobi Fairley offered a comprehensive case study of her business for creating a celebrity brand.
Melissa Galt, with a very different bend also enthusiastically urged the Design community to embrace the opportunities online to promote their businesses.
The Designing Green Summit was also a popular presentation as Thom Felicia, Vladimir Kagen and served on a panel initially with directed questions and then more from the standing room only audience.
Was happy to be present at the Charleston Forge ribbon cutting ceremony for thier new showroom at Market Square.
And finally, the Elle Decor book signing by Margaret Russell...which was co sponsored by the High Point Design Center, served as an unexpected highlight for me as I unexepectedly ended up as resident photographer for those wanting to capture the moment in photos. See all photos here.

To A Day of Celebrations! |
I've had a great day and topping it off by posting this missive to you.
Have had the TV on in the background as I worked and thus I know that Sesame Street is celebrating it's 40th birthday today and of course it is no news that the city of New York was in full celebratory mode with their recent World Series win. I join in the celebrations with it being my 49th birthday today....looking very much forward to what this next year has to offer and having you share this with me is what brings me so much delight.
Off to the airport. Husband back from being in China for two weeks.
Happy Weekend
Ruth
P.S. Look for next issue showing off a new line we're introducing to you all. So excited!
