Antiques by Zaar in High Point since 2004
Similar to the folks at Charleston Forge my first days as an exhibitor at High Point were in the warm and classic ambiance of the Market Square building. The character of the faciltiy was reminiscent of my then warehouse, which was in an old mill in Lewiston Maine, and complemented my collection so nicely.
Following our introduction and growing understanding of making our collection as available as possible to the Trade (in none other than "the furniture capital of the world"), we determined to make a further committment to High Point and thus, over the course of two years, moved our warehouse from Maine to High Point NC. Said move completed just over a year ago.
Our business model was such that our main store front has always been our website. Less the warehouse facility we have never had a brick and mortor store front and are thrilled for the latitude such has offered us by way of reaching customers nation wide. We came to High Point, ready to sell online and are happy to see so many of the people we have met and presented our collection to in person come on board to do their purchases from our online store front following said introduction.
However, we know the value in seeing all in person and we know the value of that place where this is best done, and that is most definitely High Point, NC.
Warehouse/Showroom: 400 Mandustry St, High Point.
I am excited to announce that we, for the first time, will be using our 12,000 square foot warehouse as our main venue to showcase our collection. Thanks to Jeff Moore, my in house designer/sales associate, we have a portion of the warehouse set up in attractive vignettes, with the balance of our collection neatly sorted in aisles. Get a preview of our warehouse by visiting this clip on You Tube. We will be open throughout Market...
Saturday October 17- Thursday October 22 from 8:00- 5:00, and following Market, the first Wednesday of each month, and otherwise by appointment. When I am unavailable, Jeff, who is based out of Greensboro, is on the ready to share with you our line.
