Greetings!
Maine Winter Early days of 2008 have been punctuated with an inordinate number of snow storms, each one followed directly by sunshine filled days. Our daughter relishes in the "snow days" that have been called due to the weather. I have eaten up the photo ops that come with such and have determined to share these with you, should you be interested in catching abit of a New England winter. At least via photos. New Year, New Buy

Antique Korean Money ChestAnd of course we have photos for you from our annual January buying trip. As has been the case for more than the past half dozen years, as soon as the kids are back in school we send Mark off to China to scout out and see what he can buy to add a fresh infusion to our Collection. By visiting the following noted link you can see for yourself the wonderful pieces he was able to procure for our abyzaar customers.  Click here to view all the new product.

How It Works

While we are just getting in motion to get these pieces on the site, feel free to shop this Buy by CLICKING HERE, while the pieces wend their way from China to our warehouse in North Carolina. No less than 150 individual stock items presented to you, to consider as possibilities to add to your home or office.

A non refundable 30% deposit (check or any major credit card works just fine) serves to secure whichever piece(s) you want. With that the piece is noted as SOLD and taken out of circulation.  Once we have confirmation of container arrival (we are expecting it 3rd week of Feb) we will advise and ask for balance due so that shipping out can be set up directly upon arrival of said container.

Feel free to contact me for additional photos and pricing and I will get to you directly, so you have all the information you need to make a well thought out decision.

To Making Every Room Inviting

Chinese Burl and Elm CabinetWhether it is rearranging some knick knacks, cleaning up some clutter, hanging up some wall art/hangings, (or giving said walls a fresh coat of paint), or adding some new pieces of furniture, I invite you to join in with me with a resolve to ensure that each room in our home emits a warm welcome. If we can help you by adding something from our collection of Chinese antique furniture and accessories, I welcome the opportunity to be part of your mission to do just that; make every room inviting.

Not to Forget, the Pups

The PupsAfter the introduction of the pups in our Christmas newsletter, I would be remiss by not offering an update on our litter of six, which, after 8 weeks (already?)  have all found new homes. Yes, those furry bundles are spreading their joy with families in NH, MA (2), CT, NY, and CO, and now we are back down to our 6 adults. (As tempting as it was we did refrain from keeping Belle, our Avery's personal fave) Puppies provide their own Kodak moments and have included some of our best from over the Holidays. They say a "picture is worth a thousand words" so let these photos speak the volumes for what have been more than a handful of moments that have rendered the likes of yours truly speechless. To a Great 2008!

I hope you enjoy all the pictorial delights linked here through this newsletter, and I shall, as always, look forward to hearing from you.

To the question "2008 is going to be what?" I have my children chanting my motto "2008 Is Going To Be Great" and I once again offer an invitation. This time to join with me to make it a great 2008, whatever that may mean for you. I know what it means for me.
