Greetings!
Welcome to our first newsletter for 2009. We wish you a happy and prosperous year.
Training is essential to ensure that employees are being at their most productive, which of course reflects on an organisation's success. What also contributes is the culture of an organisation, and how we deal with the people in an organisation.
In the Training Resources Section of this newsletter we have highlighted two new Australian Releases.
- "It's All About Culture" - What does your culture say to your clients? This title is sure to create discussion and action.
- "Managing Generation Y" - which will give you a good understanding of the Y Generation, including strategies to attract and retain them.
Also in this edition we have the Professional Development courses that are coming up in the first quarter.
Enjoy the newsletter. If there are any specific topics that you would like us to cover in the future, please let us know.

Managing Generation Y |
|
Three generations are now in the workplace, and the youngest - Generation Y - are making their mark.
They view the workplace very differently from Baby Boomers or Generation X. Having grown up with technology, they are digital natives - information and communication has always been instant. They want to go a long way in a short time; they often don't settle for just being told - they want to know why; and being constantly connected with a social network is, more often than not, critical to survival.
Featuring comment from author and director of Essence Communications Penny Burke, James Masini from Hippo Jobs and Susan Lin, the Young Australian Businessperson of the Year, this programme explores a range of issues and strategies associated with attracting, retaining, effectively managing, and capitalising on the many strengths of Generation Y workers.
Key Training Points:
- Understanding the charcteristics of Generation X and the Baby Boomers
- Understanding the needs, experiences and wants of Generation Y
- Strategies for managing Generation Y
- Strategies for making workplace change in order to attract and retain Generation Y
The programme includes:
- DVD Managing Generation Y
- Comprehensive Leader's Guide
- Participant Workbook

Purchase: $695 +GST
