SOL YOGA OPENS IN PONOKA:
THE PRAIRIE REFUGE


What a warm welcome Home!  We taught our first class in Ponoka today and the response was huge. Exciting times! Sol Yoga officially launches in the prairies with regular classes beginning Thursday, September 16.
 
Please join Doris for classes Saturday and Sunday, September 11 and 12th in Crescent Beach, while Marita teaches another Sunshine Coast Yoga Retreat.   Send us some good vibes as we officially launch into this new adventure!!

The Yoga of Stillness 
Love rises from the waters of tranquility, when the mind's cares are suspended and thoughts do not trouble the body.  To walk on the path of love, you must cultivate quietude - stillness of the body and stillness of the mind.  Render your body as still as the lunar orb drifting slowly across a cloudless sky at night.  It shines with a borrowed light, as does the human body and mind.
 
 Wherever you are, sit quite motionless within and without.  Remember the palable stillness of the great mountains of this Earth.  They simply abide in timeless meditation, patiently witnessing the passing of the seasons and ages.  Even a raging storm cannot diminish their tranquility, and their peaks are forever bathed in pure sunlight.
 
When you sit motionless and undisturbed, you are grounded and unshakeable like a mountain.  And with your inner sense reaching up, you begin to touch the golden light of the Mystery and hear its sparkling song.   -Georg Feuerstein
