Yoga celebrating the Sweetness of Life
If you think that the Truth can be known from words,
If you think that the Sun and the Ocean
Can pass through that tiny opening
Called the mouth
O someone should start laughing!
Someone should start wildly laughing!

treeToday I commit to TRUTH.

1. Playwright, poet and first president of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Havel once said, " Keep the company of those who seek the truth, and run from those who have found it."  If you keep this in mind as you search for meaning and purpose in life, you will have a better chance of discovering truth while experiencing more joy and freedom in the process. Notice other points of view whenever you take a strong position on any issue.  Practise flexibility in your perspective to expand truth in your life.

2.  Seek opportunities to express your truth in ways that bring increasing freedom and joy to you and those affected by you.  Using timing and finesse, seek to maximize happiness and minimize suffering as a consequence of your thoughts, words and actions.

3. Evaluate your choices in terms of whether the truth you embrace takes you in the direction of unity or seperation.  When evaluating which truth to own, consider whether a choice brings you increasing freedom and peace.  Then make the choice that carries your sense of self from constricted to expanded, and helps calm mental turbulence.
