Greetings!
It was a sweet Valentines night four years ago that we offered our first yoga class in Crescent Beach. What a lot of love those fabulous four years have brought! Here are four of our favourite recurring remembrances to have on the yoga mat...
1)BE GENTLE. With yourself, with others, with mother earth. May we all be more nourishing in our choices of thoughts, words and actions. Yoga helps calm the inner critic, and inspires more recognition of self in other and reminds us that the planet is our extended body. It reminds us to pace ourselves, worry and hurry less, and that gentleness is our strength.
2)RELAX INTENSELY. We love life on the beach. Here in Crescent Beach we feel connected to a beautiful tribe of like-minded, heart-centered people who understand when we get intense about relaxation. We are happy for the shared love of yoga nidra, meditation and savasana! It matters a lot that we all stress less and activate the healing inner pharmacy of peace, contentment, and ease more often.
3)LAUGH. Life seems far less serious than it did a mere 4 years ago. It is truly a relief to be included in the cosmic joke and to realize the value of play, giggles, hugs, and lightheartedness through our yoga practise. Let us celebrate the sweetness of life together!
4)LOVE IMPERFECTLY. Loving is the whole point. We are here to learn how to love well and to be well loved. Embrace the mystery and step into the "I don't know" with love and keep opening to love no matter what. We are all learning this. Be surprised, be amazed, be amused and keep taking the magnificent risk of being obliterated into the unity called love.
