Our Intention: To create an alliance of people based on the awareness of humanity's interconnectedness. We believe that if enough people share the value of peace, war can be brought to an end. If enough people shift their awareness toward social justice, human rights, and environmental sustainability, then injustice, oppression, and the destruction of the ecosystem can be stopped.
Join us for a New Year's sacred chant evening to meditate on all of your intentions (sankalpas) for 2009. Health and wellness, balance and peace will be our overall focus for this evening's chant, but do bring all of your intentions for the year ahead and be ready to let go of anything that is no longer serving you. Along with Kirtan, Sandra Leigh and Chantal Jolly will guide us in chanting some Vedic Health Mantras to assist in wellness and healing throughout our bodies. This is an ancient blessing for nourishment in the year ahead. With our thoughts we make the world said the Buddha... with our beliefs/intentions/thoughts, we co-create our life with the Eternal Heart that beats our individual hearts.
