Business People Needed to Speak to Students |

The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce is working with Valley View High School to provide business speakers for students. Speakers are needed to discuss entry level positions within their company. The goal of the program is to provide students experience and background information about Blue Springs and surrounding area businesses so the students can learn about future viable business options.
Business persons are needed on September 29th and October 13th from 11:30 am - noon. Businesses are asked to speak for 10-15 minutes and then answer questions for the remainder of the session.

Mr. Hoenig will speak about:

| Chamber's 2010 Legislative Priorities |

The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce is in the process of developing its Legislative Priorities for 2010. If you have business items you would like the Chamber to consider as part of its priorities, please us know. A meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th, at the Chamber office. The purpose of the meeting will be to draft Legislative Priorities to be sent the Board for consideration. Once priorities are established, they will be shared with our area legislators.
