The luncheon speaker is Brad Lund, President of the Independence Pro Hockey Club
Mr. Lund will give an update on the progress of the arena, and the team in general. Learn the latest news about this exciting new Central Hockey League (CHL). This is a professional hockey team and will feed players into the National Hockey League.

U.S. Senator Christopher S. Kit Bond announced on Friday, June 12th that a Listening Post Forum will be held in Blue Springs at the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce.
"My best ideas come from Missouri and I depend on the feedback I get from the thousands of Missourians that use these meeting each year," My job is to serve Missourians, but I need to hear about a problem if I am going to help solve it and that's what these Listening Posts are for."
Listening Posts are meetings with Missourians held by Senator Bond's staff across the state. During these meeting, Missourians are invited to discuss their concerns with federal policies and agencies with members of the Senator's staff. | |

Ribbon Cutting...June 26th at Garden City Bank. - 27701 SW Mason School Road. Join us at noon for a ribbon cutting and a picnic.
The Membership Appreciation Event & Business Showcase is scheduled for June 28th. Chamber members and their families are invited to a picnic from 5:00 -6:30 p.m. NOTE - THIS IS A TIME CHANGE FROM WHAT WAS PUBLICIZED EARLIER. Thanks to UMB , Kwik Kopy and Parkway Plumbing for sponsoring this event. Please RSVP to the Chamber at 229-8558 or at bschamberinfo@bluespringschamber.com so that we know how many people to plan for.
As a member, you are allowed to showcase your business to other members and the general public at this event. The Business Showcase will start at 5:00 p.m. Call the Chamber office for more details. There is no cost to participate in this event. Only the space is provided. Limited spaces are available.
This event is prior to the Blue Springs Parks & Recreation Summer Concert Series. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and is the Elsea Smith Band (Blues & Rock). This concert is sponsored by the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce. Plan to attend to enjoy food, friends and fun. Please bring chairs and blankets to enjoy our picnic and concert.

By purchasing your tickets early you are helping the
Blue Springs South Booster Club. A portion of the sales price will go to them.
There are 6 players from our High Schools playing in the game.
