Two new summer offerings: Family Retreat and Confirmation Camp
We are busy making plans for Summer 2011. In addition to summer camp, which at your request will include two family camp options this year, Gravatt is excited to offer two completely new experiences on the conference side.
July 3 - 8, the Revs. Susan and Jack Hardaway will serve as chaplains for our first ever Family Retreat Week. Bring the whole family for recreation, relaxation, and renewal. Mark your calendar now and look for more details in the coming months.
July 10-13, the Rev. Mary Cat Young will serve as chaplain for Confirmation Camp. This retreat week will be geared toward first-year Confirmands and is a great opportunity in particular for churches who do not have the resources for a confirmation retreat. Individuals and entire classes are welcome. Instruction will supplement confirmation class curriculum and be interspersed with traditional camp activities like swimming, hiking, challenge course and more.Check our website for more details on Family Retreat Week and Confirmation Camp. |
