The beginning of a beautiful collaboration and the premiere of a new issue of Vanguard Voices of the Hudson Valley, entitled "Actors & Writers: Odd Shorts", featuring a collection of short plays highlighting the last fourteen years of the Actors & Writers Shorts Festival.

Subjects include friends and lovers, cops and politicians, talking luggage and the mind of God. Playwrights include A&W company members Katherine Burger, Laura Shaine Cunningham, Mary Gallagher, Sigrid Heath, Mikhail Horowitz, Adam LeFevre, Nicole Quinn, Nina Shengold, David Smilow, and Mary Louise Wilson.

MMSC readers include Christine Crawfis, Janet Nurre, Jack Kroll, Bruce Pileggi, Michael Frohnhoefer, Barbara McMahon Scanlan, Rosemarie Navarra and Elizabeth Barrows, with special appearances by Mikhail Horowitz and David Smilow.

A limited number of books signed by the playwrights will be available for sale. Meet the playwrights afterwards. A rare opportunity.
