Our next class will be held September 13 & 20th 5:00 - 7:00PM in Room 202 (Choir Room). This 2 week class is designed for prospective new members and anyone wanting to learn more about Apex Baptist Church. This class will provide attendees with Apex Baptist's beliefs, purpose, and help them understand what it means to be a member at Apex Baptist.  Those interested in attending the class can register by contacting Tim Shaw.

Financial Peace University is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. During the 13 lessons, Dave Ramsey teaches about how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving.

If you are interested in attending this class, there is a 30 minute course preview Sunday Aug 23rd immediately following the 2nd service at 12:30PM in Room 202 (Choir Room). The actual class begins Wed Aug 26th in Room 312. Have you ever been afraid of sharing the gospel because you were not sure what to say? Have you ever refrained from evangelism because you might get asked a question about your faith for which you may not have an answer?  Then got life?'s conversational style gospel presentation is for you. got life? is also a tool that provides you with the ability to defend your faith. It will give you answers to some of the most commonly used objections by unbelievers who are skeptical about the gospel.  Join us on Sunday evenings 4:00 - 6:45PM starting Sept 13th in Room 202 (Choir Room) where you will be teamed up in groups of 3, learn how to share your faith, and go out into the community and put what you learn into practice.

This school year there will be children in need at our nearby elementary schools (K-5) and the Raleigh Rescue Mission.  From now through August 31st we will be collecting school supplies, gently used jackets, warm shirts,  and new underwear and socks for these children.  Please leave your donations at the missions Corner located past the round window at the end of the hall.
 

Scrapbookers, join us next Friday night, August 21st at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall for tons of scrapbooking fun!  All we ask is that you bring a snack and drink to share.
