Two woodsmen were working in the forest.  The first said to the second "Lets have a contest to see who can harvest the most wood today?"  The second said that was a great idea.  The first woodsman set down every hour and the second woodsman didn't take any breaks.  By the end of the day the woodsman that set down every hour had harvested the most wood.  The second woodsmen was shocked and asked "How could you win if you took a break every hour?"  The second woodsman said "I wasn't taking a break I was sharpening my axe."

One of the most common statements we hear is "Our people don't have time to train, they need to be working.  Hummm!

What Can You Do?

Make sure you are taking care of your best people and taking market share away from the competitors that are cutting back.  To do that you need to leverage everyone's skill and creativity on your team to provide the best value for your current and new clients.
