No struggle.
No turmoil.
It would be nice if we never encountered resistance to any endeavor, whether in business or personally.
Unfortunately, life doesn't work that way.
The economy, financial matters, slow receivables, team members not doing their share, competitive pressures, and an unending list of challenges seem unrelenting.
Knowing that the friction and trials are a part of growth, we can look at today's challenging business climate with far less fear and apprehension.
What can you do?
Remind clients, vendors, employees, and friends that although the current market is a life-changing event for everyone caught in its path, we shouldn't try to resist the friction or the trials.
Instead, we should embrace those challenges by focusing on getting better at polishing. The reward at the end of this business cycle will be that the gem -- your gem of a business -- is more valuable than ever.
