Toxic Use Reduction Community Conference

Newton Marriott

Thursday, April 14

Dear 'Links,

Yesterday the American Lung Association released a report -

Toxic Air: The Case for Cleaning Up Coal-fired Power Plants - to help the public understand the long-overdue need to clean up emissions of hazardous air pollutants from coal-fired power plants in the electric grid.

In addition, the white paper that formed the basis of that report, Emissions of Hazardous Air Pollutants from Coal-fired Power Plants, prepared for by Environmental Health & Engineering, Inc. in Boston is also available.

The report, white paper and press materials can found on website at www.LungUSA.org/ToxicAirReport.
