'Links,
Earth Day at Salem State on Wednesday was a great evening; we celebrated water and local people who protected it - Rep Lori Ehrlich, Jan Schlictmann, Pam Kampersal, Renee Mary, and Mary Rodrick from
the Wenham Lake Watershed Association; Kerry Macklin of the Ipswich River Watershed, and Barbara Warren of Salem Sound CoastWatch. (Pictured above: local activists and SSC Earth Day planning committee.)
SSC President Meservey made the presentations to ''Friends of the Earth' as well as to students for their research projects.
Check out the movie of the student 'putt putt' course; art students made illustrative holes for the miniature golf course which focused on concerns around Troubled Waters - the theme for the year. http://salemstate.edu/earthday/

Keep emailing photos of the pollution from the power plant. We are keeping a close eye on activities upon learning of the incineration of huge paper packs and other consumer waste.
P.S. If you have an old camera and/or laptop you could donate to HealthLink, we are specifically looking for an Olympus C8080, SP 350 or SP 500 to set up a webcam.
