1) Discussion with Progressive Colombian Senator Jorge Robledo, Fri, March 20, 112 Exchange Street, Lynn at 6:30 pm. Sen. Robledo has been a strong voice in the Colombian Senate in support of workers' rights and especially for the rights of workers and communities affected by multinational mines, including the coal mines that send their coal to Salem. 2) Volunteers needed to judge student research projects at Salem State College Earth Day, Monday, April 13, 11 am. Contact lynnnadeau@aol.com, if you can help. Earth Day events, including speakers, panel discussions, movies etc. are open to public. 3) BPA press conference at the State House on Thurs, March 19 asking the Governor to ban this harmful endocrine disrupter from plastic baby products. Meeting at 10:30 am in Rm. 222. Bring a #7 plastic bottle with a message in it for the Governor.

6) Volunteer to become a plume reader! HealthLink is seeking an individual(s) who would like to be trained/certified to read the smoke plume from the power plant stacks and determine violations. This requires a commitment to a day of training, April 21 in Milford, following up with a day of field certification. For more information, contact HealthLink at healthlink@healthlink.org

7) Do you have an old camera you could donate to HealthLink? We are specifically looking for an Olympus C8080, SP 350 or SP 500 to set up a webcam for photos of the power plant.
