Dear Clients and Friends,

Happy New Year!  We begin 2009 by featuring the work of British artist, Bella Pieroni, whose abstract figurative drawings and paintings capture the both the fluidity of movement and fleeting stillness within motion.

Art Fair focus shifts to Los Angeles this month with the opening of the LA Art Show, Art LA 2009 and the IFPDA Fine Print Fair.  Blue Tangerine Art will be attending the fairs including both art fairs coming up in San Francisco.  Please see our Art Diary Dates below.

Please email us with your art consulting questions or make an appointment to visit us at our San Francisco gallery space.
Bella Pieroni
The Essence of Motion

Pieroni PrintsBella Pieroni, a contemporary British artist uses line, form and color to create the dynamic and energetic subjects of her work. Working in her studio with live models and music, Pieroni is able to capture the flow and movement of her dancing models.

Employing confident yet sensitive drawing lines, Pieroni harnesses the energy of the body in motion to depict a gesture or a feeling; revealing the essence of human expression.

Pieroni has exhibited her work internationally for the past 20 years.  She spent her early education in England focusing on both painting and lithography which she incorporates in her work today by combining both mediums.

Pieroni has made her original drawings and a new series of limited edition prints available through Blue Tangerine Art.  View her new work online and feel free to contact us if you have questions.

Los Angeles Art Shows

Los Angeles Art ShowLA welcomes three shows opening this month.  The Los Angeles Art Show opens January 25th in a new location, the LA Convention Center in Santa Monica, allowing twice as many exhibitors to participate this year.  With almost 180 participants, it spans 500 years of art from Old Masters to emerging, cutting edge, contemporary art.  The show is coupled with the LA Print Fair in the same location.

The smaller contemporary art fair, Art LA 2009, opens January 23rd at the Barker Hangar in the Santa Monica Airport, with an international array of established blue chip and emerging galleries.

Blue Tangerine Art will be visiting the LA Art Fairs this year, looking for new artists and art work to add to our portfolio. We look forward to presenting our finds to our clients when we return.
