Wow!  The Mayor's Cup is only days away!

All the secrets of the Mayor's Cup will soon be discovered.  In the meantime here are a few rumors about what could happen on the course.

  • A live musical performance by some local greats!
  • A film crew making a documentary about the adventure!
  • Special course guests from out of town!
  • The most creative and exciting "race" possibly ever!
  • Enough sponsors prizes for almost all participants!

There are three sections to the Mayor's Cup.  Stage 1 is downtown Columbia.  Stage 2 is a college or university.  Stage 3 is a local park.  The event starts at 9 am and the closing ceremonies are at 2 pm.  The pizza party starts at 1:30 pm.  There will be plenty of time for athletes of all abilities to gather points across the course and finish.  Fun is guaranteed for all.

"Columbia is an awesome city.  It is the perfect place for the Urban Adventure Race. Columbia is filled with people who love life and activity.  It has a wonderful park, trail and sidewalk system which is growing every day.  It is a green city with a fun-filled downtown.  Columbians will love the Mayor's Cup; you might say it is Columbia's cup of tea."
