Impossible smallImpossible Ride
Non-stop endurance bike ride across the Katy Trail
Date: September, 2007
Time: TBA
Location: The District, Columbia, MO

Impossible Ride is a test of human endurance in the quest to conquer the long miles of the Katy Trail.

4 endurance athletes from Columbia, MO will be biking from the downtown DISTRICT to the Hindman Junction on the Katy Trail. After this warm up strech they will bike at race pace to St. Charles. Upon reaching the Trail Head Brewery they will reverse directions and pace themselves to Clinton. At that point they will make their way back to the Hindman Junction Columbia trailhead and then cool down with a bike ride back to Columbia. Not including the 16 miles of Columbia trailhead, the four bikers will be attempting an impressive 462 miles. To raise the stakes even further the riders will be attempting to increase fundraising (proceeds benefit the Central Missouri Humane Society) levels by trying to accomplish the lofty goal in under 24 hours.

The option is currently being discussed to open this event up to 25-50 additional endurance riders. 1 lap and 2 lap options. Check back soon for more information.

LOOKING FOR A BEST FRIEND & A RUNNING BUDDY?
Meet our featured foster dog of the month!

Ryka - This German Shepherd mix is a very intelligent, attentive girl who is house trained, crate trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and high five. She's generally mellow around the house though she can get a little rowdy during play.  Ryka would be perfect for an active family or single who can give her the time and attention she deserves.  She will return all the love given to her tenfold! She currently runs with her foster dad and is up for a slow waltz around the block or a blistering 10 mile sprint.
