Shaping the Future: Summer Renovations & the New Pine Shadows
SBISD has now rebuilt nine of 13 planned elementary schools under the $597.1 million Bond Plan. This ambitious rebuilding and renovation program was approved by district voters in 2007. > Read More

College Nights in SBISD
- October 2nd and 3rd from 6-8 p.m.
College Nights are two evenings of information planned especially for district high school students and their families. Spring Woods High School, located at 2045 Gessner, will host both evening events.
SBISD students should attend their particular high school’s scheduled College Night.
On Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 6-8 p.m., students and families from Stratford and Spring Woods high schools and Westchester Academy for International Studies are encouraged to attend. Students from Memorial and Northbrook high schools and the district’s Academy of Choice program should attend the second evening session on Wednesday, Oct. 3, also held from 6-8 p.m.
Odyssey of the Mind Awareness Meeting
Odyssey of the Mind will conduct an informational meeting hosted by Terrace Elementary School, 10400 Rothbury, at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10. All parents, students and teachers are encouraged to attend this district-wide meeting for an overview of the program. Fall Fine Arts Events will Make All Applaud

Underage Drinking - Town Hall Meeting
The Bay Area Council on Alcohol and Drugs, Texans Standing Tall, and Baskin Robbins have joined in partnership with the Coalition of Behavioral Science to host a Town Hall Meeting on underage drinking. The event will be held Monday, Sept. 10, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the SOSA Community Center - 1414 Wirt Road. Community members, parents, educators and students are invited to attend.
