Two named 2012 Teachers of the Year

It was a night for science appreciation as Thornwood Elementary’s Mario Romero and Spring Woods High chemistry teacher Jamie Flint were named as the district’s 2012 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year.

JASON Project Argonauts: Update

JASON Project Argonauts prepare for Black Sea research project

Two Spring Branch ISD middle school students and a sixth-grade science teacher are now preparing to explore the Black Sea onboard the E/V Nautilus, a research ship equipped with onboard, remotely-operated sea exploration vehicles (ROVs).
