The SBISD PTA Council will sponsor two separate Candidates Forums this month to give residents the opportunity to ask questions of Board of Trustees candidates.

Talita Barrera, a seventh-grader at Northbrook Middle School, placed second overall in her grade level in the recently held Earth Day Art Contest. Winning student art will be auctioned April 19 to raise funds for local schools and Air Alliance Houston, which was contest sponsor.

Meadow Wood Elementary Principal Robye Snyder was honored as “Boss of the Year” by the Spring Branch Educational Support Association during its annual “Fun”raiser auction event. More than $5,000 for student scholarships was donated during the event.
