Coach Berry's Corner
When is the best time of day to workout? The short and simple answer is that the best
time of day to workout is the time of day that feels best for you. It
is your body and how you feel. There are those early birds who enjoy
training first thing in the morning and there are those who train later
at night.
Train at whatever time feels most
comfortable for you, as long as you leave at least a 3-4 hour gap from
the end of your workout until the time that you go to bed. If you are an early morning person, plan for a protein packed nutrition after working out and before you start your work day.
Feed
your body properly and often for maximum results you can see and feel.
You can not expect muscle growth without fuel nor to feel full of
vitality and energy if your 'fuel tank' is running on empty.
Remember a key part of your nutrition plan is plenty of water. When you
are dehydrated you body shuts down, you don't think clearly, you loose
strength and energy besides developing a massive headache. Hydration is
critical. |
